Albany Parks & Recreation Foundation raises private funds to give low-income families, children, and adults access to recreation programs. By reducing barriers to participation, the Foundation helps to support the mental, physical, and emotional health of Albany community members. Scholarships are awarded through the Albany Parks & Recreation Department’s needs-based assistance process. The Scholarship fund is 100% made possible through the generous support of individuals and organization.
